Fee Concession

Deserving students, possessing good academic record, are considered for full or half remission of the tuition fee. However, number of students to whom such a remission can be granted is limited to 10% of total strength of a class in the case of full or 20% in the case of half-fee concession

Merit Scholarship

A number of scholarships are available to meritorious students, i.e. HEC Need Base Students, PEEF Scholarships, Mora Scholarships, etc. Regional scholarships are granted by various district and divisional education departments after admission is finalized. Similarly, the University awards a number of merit scholarships to students belonging to the Institute

Needy Scholarship/Aid

The University of the Punjab awards a limited number of stipends to students deserving financial assistance on the recommendation of the Director. Qarz-e-Hasna is offered by many agencies. Needy scholarships are given by Government of Punjab from provincial Zakat Fund

Research Fellowships

Research Fellowships may become available from University of the Punjab, Higher Education Commissions and the Pakistan Science Foundation after approval of a research program proposed by the students including Ph. D. Thesis work.
